Would some hotshot please explain, to those of us who use only
AbiWord (and maybe something like pico/nano), and don't know vi from emacs
from a Model T Ford, what Overwrite mode *is* and what it has to do with
AbiWord? I've been trying all through this thread to figure out what it's
about, and can't find straight up. Apparently "overwrite" in those editors
meand something different than it would on paper or in any other word
processor ....
