Just FYI, the next release of Slackware, due out in April, will
have all the Gnome stuff taken out. This is a clear case if it
ain't broke don't fix it. If you insist on Gnome then you will
lose part of your user base. Some others will just stick with
obsolete versions of Abiword to avoid the hassle.
