When you close abiword it changes the Abiword.Profile

Abiword must be completely closed and off before you try to change the
Abiword.Profile otherwise changes will be overwritten.
I suspect this is what is happening.

Also, it is easy to make mistakes when editing the Abiword.Profile - I
know this because I've made mistakes too - and you absolutely must read
the instuctions carefully. Then read the instructions again more
carefully and double check to make sure that you have changed precisely
the correct part of the Abiword.Profile.

It is also entirely possible that you problem is caused by something else.

    Hope that helps

    Sincerely

    Alan Horkan.

PS Personally I prefer the full functionality and stability of Mozilla 1.4
aka Mozilla Seamonkey but if you prefer a faster lighter browser then the
less reliable Mozilla Firebird might be worth your closer attention.
