    Hi,

    Two questions...

I've just started using AbiWord (version 2.0.2, running in Windows XP
Home Edition) and I'm having trouble getting the language setting to
stay as UK English. It loads with the default of US English. I've tried
putting a line in the abiword.profile file with Notepad, as recommended
in the FAQ, but it just keeps getting removed the next time I run AbiWord.

I did have the idea of setting the document language to UK, then saving
it as the default template, but if I put a footnote in, I'm back in US
again. There's probably a simple solution that's staring me in the
face, but I can't see it! It's driving me up the wall! :-)

I also saw on the website that there are filters for loading
OpenOffice.org files, but they don't seem to be included in the Windows
template installation. How do I get them?

It would be nice to get these things sorted out, because AbiWord seems
the ideal WP for running on my rather old laptop. I need the
functionality of OOo for some of my freelance editing work, but for
everyday writing, when I've got the WP, the Encylopaedia Britannica, the
Atlas and Mozilla running at the same time, AbiWord seems a more
    sensible choice.

    Thanks,
