I have followed the Anne Parker recommendation, and put my old Type1
polices in a directory "OldFontsORI" ; then (and only then) I have made
the following operations =
Windows ttf-fonts => copied to << /usr/local/share/AbiSuite/fonts >>
and command << /usr/bin/ttfadmin.sh /usr/local/share/AbiSuite/fonts >>
That done, launching AW, I have nothing but the following message =
<< AbiWord could not find any local font files in its font path. Often this error
<< is the result of invoking AbiWord directly instead of through its wrapper
<< shell script. The script sets the environment variable $ABISUITE_HOME
<< which should point to the directory where AbiSuite components
<< reside. >>
<< The current font path contains : [ /usr/local/share/AbiSuite/fonts ]
as if it was bad, BUT THAT PATH IS EXCELLENT !!!...
If I control the variables in the wrapper, I have well (conform) =
ABISUITE_LIBEXEC=/usr/local/bin
ABISUITE_HOME=/usr/local/share/AbiSuite
export ABISUITE_HOME
ABISUITE_FONT_HOME=$ABISUITE_HOME/fonts
ABISUITE_FONT_PATH=$ABISUITE_FONT_HOME
... all seems correct !
Where is the fault? Have you an advice?
Bernard L.
