_Just starting this page with a list of recommendations which I may flesh out here or link to another page._

Select then apply
Use Styles (and use the new "Lock Styles" feature to enforce the use of styles if appropriate)
Use as a "plain" text editor to "view codes"

Use to convert from uncommon formats to standard ones, i.e. from pdb to txt.
Use to automate (script) common administrative tasks.
Use for default editor and embedded previews (due to abis speed and flexibility).
