So there's no difference really between .rtf and .doc - either are
fine for my basic uses as they allow reading by another app and also
for occasional sending as email. One can't be sure that Abiword will
continue development... it did stop several years back for a while.
That would be a shame as Abiword and a very useful app which i think
is better than LO-writer.
