Okay, preliminary results:

The package downloaded and installed fine. Three more small libraries
had to be installed too, but quick and painless. I've run through the
main menu items without any glitches so far. Maybe someone else will
test out the more complicated functions.

I'm running antiX (a Debian Wheezy offshoot of Mepis).
