I'm experimenting with AbiCommand and Perl.
Will AbiCommand return "error -###" where ### is a number for every error it encounters? can I count on that string to show there's an error?
Is there a listing of error codes for AbiCommand anywhere?
Also, do file names have to be given with absolute paths? I'm having a LOT of trouble loading and saving files through AbiCommand. I'm using the full filename, including the extension, but if I don't give the full pathname, I get errors. Even with the full pathname, I get errors:
AbiWord:> load OUAGTest.abw
Attempting to load a document
error : Unknown IO error
Error loading OUAGTest.abw error -308
error -308
AbiWord:> load /threshNet/tmp/OUAGTest.abw
Attempting to load a document
** (abiword:18926): WARNING **: Got plain filename /threshNet/tmp/OUAGTest.abw in UT_go_file_open.
OK
(I started AbiWord in the directory where OUAGTest.abw was.)
Thanks for any help on this!
