Sounds like an ideal use for a spreadsheet program. Try Gnumeric or
OpenOffice Calc on for size.
Import it into AbiWord and save a text. Then load the file as a "Comma
Seperated Value File (CSV)". Do your cleanup in the spreadsheet
program.
