Hi Eric,
I just check MicroSoft Word. Shift-Left selects the
character to the left of the caret, control-shift-left selects the
word to left of the caret. This is exactly the same as AbiWord.
Unfortunately it looks like getting "Naturally Speaking" to work fully
with AbiWord is not as simple as rebinding keystrokes.
