AbiWord has no AutoCorrect/AutoFormat feature (by design). Therefore,
you should get exactly what you type: a single dash/hyphen (en dash)
when you press the key. When you press the hyphen twice, two en dashes
should appear in your output (and your HTML file): if you are
experiencing something else, please file a bug at
http://bugzilla.abisource.com If you want to insert an em dash (long
dash, Word changes two hyphens to this), use the Insert Symbols dialog.
