Huh? Gmane has nothing to do with us, use it if you want or dont.
I'm pretty sure gmane will add mailing lists to their system if you
make the effort to ask.

I see the abiword devel list is available

and so is the abiword users list
http://blog.gmane.org/gmane.editors.abiword.user

so you dont even need to ask them to add it

The only thing stopping you from using Gmane was you.
