Re: Stable version of AbiWord for WinXP?

I've read Grant's latest message in reference to a laptop
install.

However, as I run a dual boot Windows XP and PCLinuxOS box on
different hard drives, i sought to duplicate the problem on my
Windows XP (v5.1.2006) SP 2.0.

result: unsuccessful.

Suggestion (useful tools for all download installs if the
original on download site makes known the MD5 size):

Hashcalc.zip (we use this as it allows comparisons)
fsum.zip
twinmd5.zip

Re-download from a different site and see if the sizes are the
same. I would not use BitTorrent or any such application but go
directly to an ftp site, if available.

Luck,

RHC
