It did eventually find one it liked, and took it. So I'm OK : the machine
has AbiWord, and it opens files. But I do wonder about all those
repositories, or mirrors, or whatever they were -- sounds like a bad
checksum might be propagating out there somewhere. Not my pigeon, but
pposibly of interest to the developers.
