Hi all,
We have to access the internet through an authenticated proxy.
Unfortunately, Abiword installation does not allow for setting up proxy
authentication and fails while downloading stuff required during
installation, stuff like:
* dictionaries for languages other than EN-US
* glib
* other required dependencies.
The error I get is something like this "Nslib: HTTP1.1/402
authentication required" (might not be exact, I remember it vaguely).
I tried setting the proxy in internet options to
"username:password@proxyhostname.example.com:proxyportnumber", but then
I get an error in resolving the host name.
Also, I tried to separately download the glib, but the installation
seems to need it in a specific location.
Any ideas how to go about this?
Thanks & Regards,
Sachin
