Hi.
Okay, I must be missing something. I cannot figure out how to get
abiword to start page numbering on the second page.
I'm writing a term paper. I want the first page of the document to be
the cover page. The actual text of the paper starts on page 2. This
should be numbered page 1. Likewise page 3 (the second page of text)
should be numbered page 2, and so on.
From searching it looks like it is something to do with section
breaks and the Format > Headers/Footers dialog. I've tried a number
of things and the second page of the document always gets numbered
page 2.
Could someone please give me a basic step-by-step instruction for
doing this? Or point me in the direction of existing instructions?
(I'm running 2.4.1 on Mac OS X 10.4, but that shouldn't really make a
difference.)
Thanks!
andy
