First of all: We didn't mean to disrepect anyone. Sorry if it looked
that way. Second: thanks for your involvement in AbiWord, we appreciate
your input.

Now, what happened: the issues you raised were interesting to the
developers as well, so it was forwarded to the developers mailing list
(not every developer also reads the user list). There the issues were
discussed as well, and not crossposted to the userlist (for example
because a developer could not post to the user list, or because not all
developer-related issues are interesting to AbiWord users).

So no, it is not a delicate matter at all, and not for developers only
either. If it was, we wouldn't have made the developers archives
public ;)

Following the archives or subscribing to the dev list would be a good
way not to miss out on anything :)
