I think that both Open Office and Abiword are great.
Both have their bonuses and both have their
limitations. But they're both free! And that is a good
thing to have in common.

Perhaps if you only knew about abiword it would be
nice to know that there is an office suite out there
that is also freeware?

Anyway, on to a different question:

I was typing something using arial the other day and
it seemed like the formatting of the font between
words was off - there were words that were crammed up
together with seemingly no space in between even
though they definitely had spaces there. I don't
remember Arial acting like that in Microsoft Word, so
don't think it is a font choice issue.

I couldn't think of any solution other than adding
another space in those spaces - not a long-term
solution...

Any suggestions?
