Re: AbiWord version 2.41 on Windows 2000 equation editor question

Ubuntu 5.10 includes AbiWord 2.4.1 in Synaptic for optional install.
However, the version available there does not include the equation
editor. Instead of installing AbiWord with Synaptic (or other apt-get
frontend), try our Autopackage, available at abisource.com.

Hope this helps!
