At about 3:52 a.m. today I sent you a help request (reproduced below under
"Message we originally sent to you). About an hour later, someone else's
message (reproduced below under "Message we received intended for you")
appeared in our mailbox. Is there a bug in your automated message system,
is it a MailScanner problem, or what? I am reproducing both messages and
sending them as part of this message because at this point I am not
confident that you have received either one.
Also: I forgot to mention in the previous message that I am using Abiword
version 2.4.0, - Les
===========================
MESSAGE WE ORIGINALLY SENT TO YOU:
As far as I can tell, I have correctly created the data source
(divlist.csv saved as plain text) and the document template
(intro.abw). These were done via Windows XP GUI. For the merge/print, I
created a DOS batch file that included the following command to execute
Abiword:
start lawyerless\abisuite2\abiword\bin\abiword.exe -m divlist.csv p
out.txt intro.abw
Nothing happens output-wise. The problem as I see it, unless a bug
exists, must be in the way the second parameter is coded. Please explain
more clearly the second sentence of the third paragraph under "Printing the
merged result" in the mailmerge documentation, especially the last clause
of that sentence: "...all the usual potential values for -p work, if you
want to print directly to your printer or filter or anything else."

Scrolling up or pressing Page Up will not go all the way to the top of the
page.
When I open AbiWord, at the top of the page there's 1/4 inch of space between
the ruler and the top of the "paper." And 1 inch margin between the top of the
"paper" and the curser.
But when I'm down the page and I scroll up or press Page Up, the page will only
go up to display the text. It will not display the margin between the text and
the top of the "paper." Or the space between the top of the "paper" and the
ruler.
I have version 2.4.1.
