Since there have been some postings re "what's after 2.0" I would like to make a
brilliant suggestion for a simple enhancement (or maybe expose my ignorance).
I've looked for this idea in Bugzilla, and as far as I can tell it hasn't been
    suggested yet.

As an MSWord user for about a decade and a half I long ago found out that the
format of a paragraph in MSWord is "attached" to the end-of-paagraph. The
complete format of a paragraph (fonts, indents, margins, tabs . . . ) can be
copied and pasted to another paragraph just by copying and pasting the
end-of-paragraph mark, even when it is hidden. I do that all the time,
especially when I am quickly editing a document that has multiple paragraph
formats. Of course, for a big report I would create styles, but that's too slow
    for a one-pager.

So one of the major aggravations of Abiword for me is that the same technique
does not consistently work in Abiword.

Of course, it is a kludge anyway, and there is a better way to do the same thing.

How about allowing the user to put the cursor in a paragraph, right-click, and
select "Copy Format"; then put the cursor in another paragraph and click "Paste
    Format"?

     . . . I know; if I want it, I should code it. I might, too!
