A bunch of files are compatible across platforms.
Namely:
1) The dictionaries, if you're using Ispell on Unix
instead of Aspell/Pspell
2) The clipart
3) The system.profile files
4) The help files
5) The other icons/artwork
It's also possible to run a Windows AbiWord binary on
Linux using Wine. Traditionally, this has been a
little dodgy, mainly because of an outstanding bug in
Wine's font handling.
