    Just to add to the discussion, kmail (version 1.4.3, part of kde 3.0.3)
    isn't too bad -- I click on "Reply All" and then delete (usually)
    everything but the list. (Part of the reason is that some people do
    not like to receive a direct (2nd) copy if they are subscribed to the
    list.)
