    Please email me directly (jeremyd@computer.org) what version of
    AbiWord.exe you have and what version of the nightly downloader
    you have. Both should be available by right clicking on the
    executable in an explorer window and looking at the version tab.
    Also please include what version of Windows you are running.

    The nightly downloader requires AbiWord.exe to be from the head
    branch as the stable (1.0.x) versions and earlier do not include
    the version resource (which is what it is looking for). I can
    provide a better response ( and may ask you to run a special
    version that provides more details with why the Windows call is
    failing) once I know what versions you presently have. If you
    can help me determine why the call is failing I will provide
    an updated version. Anyway, back to my CD driver ...
