    I hate it when people use "freeware" to describe AbiWord's license.
    AbiWord is licensed under the General Public License and is Free
    software in the sense that you are free to take and modify the source code
    to the program provided you make those changes available to everyone else.

    It's not some crappy piece of throw away code to entice people to buy the
    full version. One of the consequences of this license is that we
    have tremendous help from our users in developing the program.

    Thank you for your bug report. However to be effective you need to place
    it in our bugzilla reporting facility. There it will be remembered,
    tracked and eventually fixed.
