Displays normal but prints cursive

Abi 1.0.3 on RH 7.3. It's beautiful, but a problem that was mentioned
earlier: When I preview print it (correctly) indicates that the print
will be in a rather nice (but inappropriate for my purposes) cursive.
My XF86Config already contains load "type1".
      sudo /usr/sbin/chkfontpath -a /usr/share/AbiSuite/fonts returns
    "chkfontpath: /usr/share/AbiSuite/fonts already in list"
I rpm -e'd the abi that came with the distribution.
What am I missing? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,
since I am really anxious to do all of our docs at work with Abi.
      Thanks.
      Jim
