    I was just hoping there might be something that could be used to detect codes
    that where just setting things to the way they were anyway.

    (I did look into a Perl script -- I figured if I did that, I'd do it all out
    -- by tracking all the formatting to verify that it only removed codes that
    were, in actuality, not changing anything.)
