libdl is a library which provides dlopen()/dlclose() dynamic linking
functions
It's completely unnecessary on linux which is why (a) you don't have it,
and (b) you're unlikely to get it. What's puzzling is why -ldl has snuck
into `glib-config --libs`. You may like to edit glib-config and remove
it...
