    I did the chmod thing and it worked for me, (so far)

    Help me out here:
    How about a script which copies a backup of the fonts.dir file back to
    "fonts.dir" and then calls the AbiWord start script ?? Maybe an extra entry
    in the AbiWord script itself ?? This would make a workaround for those who
    the other fix doesn't work for.

    I'm no good at scripts, being somewhat green yet, but I'm sure it can be done
    by someone who does know.
