Greetings:
I don't know why this is happening and I'm wondering if anybody else
has stumbled across this problem. I've installed AbiWord 1.0.1-1
(GNOME version) and the fonts and plugins for it. Everything works
well as long as the machine is not rebooted. Upon reboot, the file
/usr/share/AbiSuite/fonts/fonts.dir is missing. I've changed
permissions to 444, and still when rebooted, the file is missing.
This seems to be an important file for AbiWord as it won't start
without it. I can get AbiWord to start if I force the re-install of
the fonts package, hence making a new file but I'm very confused why it
removes this file. Any help, as always, is greatly appreciated.
