Abiword 0.99.3 from ximian, on RH6.2 plus numerous enhancements.
I have like five different collections of fonts suitable for word processing.
First, there's the type1 fonts that come with X11. Then there is the freefont
collection. Add to this the TeX type1 fonts, the Acrobat Reader fonts, and the
ghostscript fonts.
How do I get Abiword to see them all?
BTW, The PDF writer in Abiword produces a buggy pdf, where the spaces are
S-cedilla. When I use ps2pdf on a print to file postscript rendition, the
result is terrible. I'd really like to substitute something better for the
Nimbus fonts.
In a related note, is there anyone working on a framework for collecting all
these fonts automatically? It seems like every program I use wants to use a
different set.
