99.3 vs libgal.so.7 !!!

I have abiword 0.99.2 installed (by way of Red Carpet) I downloaded from
the abiword site, and tried to install abiword-gnome-0.99.3-1.i386.rpm
only to find that it needs libgal.so.7. How do I get around that?
