Sorry, i know its bad for communication to use acronyms (i often ask
people not to) but sometimes I'm so familiar with a subject that I
forget.
Bugzilla is used for tracking all kinds of Issues, more than just bugs.
RFE is a shorthand we use to describe 'Request For Enhancement', feature
requests, improvements and other good things.
While I'm at it
XP stands for Cross Platform, and has nothing to do with the eXcruciating
Pain Microsoft inflicts on its users.
Microsoft has also chosen to confuse the meaning of CLI
CLI stands for Command Line Interface, (or is sometimes its an
abbreviation of the beautiful Irish girls name Cliona/Clionadh) as opposed to
GUI which stands for Graphical user interface, which is pronounced gooey
(the word gooey means slimey and sticky, like some sort of 'goo')
Whenever possible dont spell out acronyms like SQL (Structured Query
Language, its a database think) which you can pronounce as Sequel.
I think it was Alan Cox that once said:
"Html should have a rant tag"
