AbiWord for GNOME require GNOME 1.4. If you don't have it, you'llk have to
upgrade it. I recommend using Ximian Red-Carpet (http://www.ximian.com/).
Otherwise, you can install the GTK only version that only requires gtk 1.2.7
and later.
The upgrade from 0.7.x version is really worth.
