I have a related issue I'd like advice on: A friend sends me a MS Word
file as part of a joint project. Naturally I open it in ABIWord and start
making changes. But, because I'm a responsible computer user, I like to
save very frequently. Usually I hit Cntrl-S every couple of
sentences. The trouble is that, since the document is in .doc format,
every time I do this it pops up a window asking me what format I want to
save the file in, and I have to reach over to my mouse and click through a
couple of dialogue boxes asking me if I _really, really_ want to save this
as an MSWord file. :) Is there any setting I can use to get it to just save
in whatever format the file's already in?
