i think it is VERY important that there be some warning.
if niave users have problems with the compressed abiword,
it will be ridiculously difficult to figure out why.
i suppose its okay as you are not putting it on your main page, but keep
in mind the amount of questions that get asked about abiword already and
we have not had a single official stable release yet.
I just cannot assume the binary is safe without proper testing, anything
else is merely anecdotal evidence.
i was hoping to make an installer containing just Abiword.exe that was
packed using UPX so that a user could fit abiword on a floppy disk, but
that they would have to install an uncompressed version to the local
machine. Unfortunately i was not able to get it to work.
The important thing is we know its possible to fit Abiword on a single
floppy disk.
