Hope you got an answer, but in case you didn't:
I assume you are talking about horizontal centering? If so:
1 Select the paragraphs you want to center (by any of a number of
means -- drag the mouse over them with the LMB (left mouse button) held
down, use Edit --> Select all or <ctrl> a to select all the paragraphs
in the document.
2 Choose Format --> Paragraphs ---> Indents and Spacing and then
choose Centered for the Alignment.
