    Hi,

     abiword --to txt word.doc

    does work, but it takes a long time:

    time abiword --to txt freddy_sozialisation.doc

    real 0m1.075s
    user 0m0.840s
    sys 0m0.050s

    for a two page document - i would like to convert
    a lot of documents :)

    Is there a possibilty to tune abiword?
