It means it has not been reproduced - and/or that nobody has bothered
triaging the bug.
There less than 10 active developers, most of these taking finals at
their schools/universities at this time. So development has been slow
lately.
And even when the developers are around, they are better off spending
their time on bugs that have already been triaged (see
http://www.abisource.com/dev_bugs.phtml).
That means bugs such as yours is often waiting for some other user to
come along and do some triaging. And that unfortunately doesn't happen
often enough to keep the number of submitted bugs close to zero.

True, there are many bugs. But I think 5% or so have probably already
been fixed and need to be flagged as such. Part of the problem with
your bug - and Windows specific bugs in general - is that there are
comparitively few Windows developers (about 2 on a good day, I'd say
:) compared to the number of Unix developers.
Anyway, I seem to remember someone posting a patch (possibly Andrew
Dunbar) that should fix the A4 problem.

Yes and no. I've tagged bugs that I feel should be fixed before the
release, but there's no such thing as guarantees in this world.
Go to http://bugzilla.abisource.com/query.cgi and select 0.9.0 and 1.0
in the Target Milestone list. Then make the query. That should list
bugs that will (hopefully) be fixed before 1.0

You're welcome. I only wish more users would pitch in - your help
could easily save a developer enough time from "bureaucracy" to get
some actual development done.
