As Sam suggested, I went with the abisuite-0.7.13-1-gtk-RH6.2.i386.rpm
file instead of the gnome version. My first try at an install, RPM
complained about the following dependencies:
gtk+ >= 1.2.7
glib >= 1.2.7

I went to rpmfind and downloaded version 1.2.9 or something along those
lines, but RPM complained when I tried to update them, (probably something
I did wrong) so I just forced the Abiword install with the --nodeps
switch, which worked.

Abiword 0.7.13 (gtk version) is running fine on my plain vanilla Redhat
6.2 system. I like the new page setup dialog. So far I've successfully
imported a 2 meg RTF file, opened a couple of my already existing *.abw
files, and created a couple of new ones, even stuck in some graphics to
see what happened. So far so good. Scrolling seems faster, but that may
be my imagination. It's hard to tell on my badly outdated Pentium 100 box
here.

Kudos to the developers for an excellent upgrade. The only problems I've
had since version 0.7.12 were all self-imposed. 0.7.13 looks good and I'm
looking forward to using it and finding out what else has been added and
fixed since 0.7.12.

Cheers,
Drew Boswell
