What you'll probably find is that a particular subscriber to the
abiword-user list has a problem (probably transient) with domain routing.
It could well be that an MX host for his/her mail domain somewhere has gone
down, but the alternate path is looping back on itself, causing the failure.
That's what it appears to me from reading the header extract that you
supplied.
Cheers,
Scott

Sorry if this is OT, but it is a new on on me.
I sent two postings to the list at almost the same time, and which have
arrived at "abiword-user" as they have both appeared on the list. In fact, I
have received a reply to one of them from Dom.
However, this morning I have received two messages about the
postings:
Message failed - too many hops
From: VPOP3@pennmfg.com

The following message failed because there were too many hops (23)
Check for mail loops!

And so on.
What does it mean, "too many hops"?
Do I ignore these messages as my postings are OK and haven't failed?
If I don't ignore them, what do I do?
Again, sorry if this is OT.
Cheers
Keith
