spanish + outline

Hi,

I've just downloaded AbiWord 0.7 and I'm using it in Win95.

It's a very good idea to have a cross-platform editor, as this is
what people fear losing more if they move to Linux. This way,
they can use AbiWord first, and have the OS-carpet removed
under their feet, so to speak.

I've imported an RTF file, and AbiWord doesn't treat columns
very nicely. What's worse: it doesn't know how to treat non-
English characters. You know: the ones represented in HTML
pages like "á", "ñ" and so on.

Finally, let me tell you about some very interesting initiatives
in "idea processing": outliners. Just check:

http://hybris.netpedia.net
(which in turn points to the Think program under Gnome)

or, if you speak Spanish, to my page (written by me, a non-
programmer, really), about "cothinking with outlines":

http://www.gulic.org/copensar/pepe.html
(I'll be translating this shortly, but I'm working with pseudo-
code -- I'll translate it fastly if you want me to.)

I hope this email address is the right place for all this ideas
and comments!

Thanks for what will be a great program.

Lucas
