Some folks like me are just aweful spellers and since we don't want the rest of the world to know that a good spell checker is something we really need. Add that, and Abi-word will be killer. Keep up all the good work.

Thanks for the comments! The AbiWord 0.7.1 relelase includes an as-you-
type spell-checker ala Microsoft Word (the little red squiggly lines).
We don't currently have the dialog available for conentional one-big-pass
checking, but the squiggly lines should work.

If these weren't showing up as you misspelled words, AbiWord might have
had some trouble finding the dictionary. Also, I remember the 0.7.0 release
had some trouble on Windows finding the spell-checking dictionaries.
Be sure to keep up on our new releases. :)

If you'd care to send some more information about which version of AbiWord
you were using, which operating system, and anything else which might seem
important (say you were using Windows and installed to a Z: drive instead
of the default), I think we could get the spell checker working.
