Styles are only useful in certain situations, but in others they can be
a hassle. For me, the font name is essential. It may be more efficient
to define a style when you change the font for large documents, but if
I'm dealing with a large document, I use OpenOffice Writer. When I'm
dealing with a small document, I use AbiWord and I don't want to be
bothered with styles. It is too much hassle to define a style when I
only want to change the font. In my opinion the following are
essential: Font name, font size, bold, underline, italics, left,
center, right, full justify. The rest of the buttons I never use in
AbiWord.
