Hey,
An AbiWord 2.2.4 autopackage build is available for testing:
http://www.abisource.com/~rob/repo/abi/abiword-2.4.4-2.x86.package
Please not that the approach changed, I'm no longer building any
dependencies (goffice, wpd, enchant, link-grammar, gtkmathview).
Consult your distro vendor or shell interpreter if need arose.
Consequently plugins are no longer loaded lazily, symbol resolution
errors would tear down abi, this requires a small patch (see
attachment).
Unfortunately there is still a problem with the AbiMathView problem,
let's just spit on c++ and use lat^H^H^H LaTeX until the autopackage
folks and I figure it out.
A quick rundown, as there was demand:
(0) install autopackage and it's devtools
(1) get "abi", "abiword-plugins", "abidistfiles" and "wv"
(2) apply abiword patch (see attachment)
(3) "cp -R src/pkg/linux/apkg/\@gnome.org/libgnomeprint*
/usr/share/autopackage/skeletons/\@gnome.org/" in abi/
(4) "./autogen.sh" in abi/ and "./nextgen.sh" in abiword-plugins/
(5) "./conigure && makeinstaller
src/pkg/linux/apkg/abiword-gnome.apspec" in abi/
The updated apspec will be committed to the stable branch soon, so get
that instead of a release tag if you're up to packaging.
Cheers,
Rob
