It's certainly appreciated. Generally, the AbiFund has
had between $1500 and $2000 USD in the account. This
has been true for the past few years. Our major
expenditures tend to be:

*) Hardware, specifically our server (blueant) and
hardware for developers (eg: subsidizing a MacMini for
porting purposes). Fortunately, bandwidth and hosting
is generously provided to us by UTwente
free-of-charge.
*) Sponsoring developer meetings/attendences at
conferences (eg: FOSDEM, GUADEC, Gnome Summit). This
usually includes subsidizing room and board and travel
expenses, but has also included group social events
like dinner and drinks @ GUADEC 4.

As things go, the finances aren't in too-bad shape
right now. They will take a hit if people need money
for FODEM and GUADEC, but hey, that's what the money
is there for. Even still, we'll have enough money left
over to build a new server should an emergency happen,
so we're not exactly in dire straights. But having a
bigger safety net is always nice...

As always, we're appreciative for any and all
contributions.

Best,
Dom
