Recent server outage

Hi all,

As you've probably noticed, BlueAnt (our server) has been unresponsive
for about 30 hours. It wasn't dead as you could ping it, and according
to the logs, it was just too busy swapping to handle any task.

Sunday morning, the search indexer htdig was indexing our site, which
(for some reason) used so many resources that the kernel OOM killer
continuously killed httpd, ssh, htdig etc.

Why this has happened I don't know. The site has been indexed before
just fine. I'm still investigating this.

All services have been restored.

Just to let you know. Sorry for the inconvenience,
  Marc
