I cannot help feeling you are right, too many users are familiar with this
behaviour, even if only for consistancy with Gnumeric this would be
beneficial.
I would be relectant to add a preference to allow users to disable tab
navigation of tables. my only concern is that there needs to be a
relatively easy way to insert Tabs into tables.
Anyone know of a word processor that doesn't use tab navigation for tables
or know of a really easy system for inserting escape characters? (even
easier than using a character map).
