    Agreed very much that with the core developers input a well defined
    ruleset should be published (unlike mozilla, we do not, or even need to,
    restrict commit access within the developer set). I think that at least
    for the beginning, a combination of bonsai and active regression tests
    shall suffice for keeping track.
    Really though, I wanna hear what the core developers have to say.
    AFAIK, after Dec 02, stable branch is buried and we get a new one like
    1.2 (assuming jody's GO schedule holds, which it prolly won't, and may
    be pushed back as far as march if things go bad )-:).

    Anyway, that's my bloated 2 bucks.
